Tony initially qualified as a lawyer in South Africa. After a few years of practice in that country he relocated to England. Tony was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986 after training in a large City firm. After a period as a partner in a noted London West End practice, he set up his own legal practice in 1993.
Tony joined Engleharts in 2014 to work primarily as a Consultant in its highly regarded commercial property department which he continues to do.
Tony also has over 40 years’ experience in Private Client work having been involved with Private Client work in the form of Wills, Trust, Probate and Powers of Attorney throughout his career. He is a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society and it is this experience which he utilises in his role as the Head of the Private Clients Department.
Tony aims to offer a personal, professional and cost-effective service. His clients have ranged from a PLC through to small businesses and professional partnerships, as well as families, individuals and their companies. This client mix allowed him to gain substantial experience, in addition to his commercial property expertise in a wide range of property transactions, commercial and employment law as well as practical expertise in Private Client work.
Tony’s interests include reading and spending time with his family.
